Where are you from?
Yakima, WA - Born and Raised and I'd like to keep it that way. That's what I say... "Yakima is a great place to be from"
Why did you get into radio?
I almost enrolled in Pro Wrestling school until my dad found out my plans. He told me that he'd pay for me to go to YVCC if I didn't do the wrestling thing. They offered a radio broadcasting class at YVC and my Uncle was a radio DJ in Tri-Cities back in the early 80s so I thought it couldn't hurt.
If you weren't in radio, what would you be doing?
Since I probably shouldn't be a professional wrestler at this stage in my life, I'd love to be the ring announcer... or the cowardly manager who talks big, but then hides behind someone bigger.
What's your most embarrasing moment on the air?
When I was part of a morning show, I called my wife Melissa (her name is Michele)... there's now a permanent body print on our couch from all the nights I slept on it.
What's the first concert you've ever been to?
Some local 'Rock against drugs' featuring local bands from around the area. They'd rock out, get on the mic every so often and say something like "We Rock and We Don't Need Drugs" but the wiff of air proved the audience thought otherwise. Sir Mix-a-lot was my first actual concert.
Where can people find you hanging out in Tri-Cities?
Feeding the ducks or at Zips ordering the bucket of chedder tots
Do you have any hidden talents?
I can sew pretty well... I'm also lazy enough so that if I get a hole in my clothes, I toss'em and buy a new one.
Any words of advice?
There are two keys to success:
1.) Never tell anyone everything you know.
2.)
